Our Mission
MALTAĦĦ is the islands' most honest tourism board. We celebrate Malta exactly as it is becoming.
Malta's economy runs on its beauty: the sun, the sea, the honey-stone streets, the quiet bays, the views. Tourism is the island's lifeblood. And the very things visitors are sold are being poured over, one building permit at a time. You cannot market paradise while you concrete it.
Nothing here is staged, exaggerated or generated. Every image was taken across the islands by @uglymalta and used with their permission. We didn't have to look hard. We never do.
Our target is a pattern and a policy (overdevelopment, and the system that waves it through), never any individual. We celebrate the developments. We leave the architects, developers and owners entirely out of it.
Come for the history. Stay for the structural surveys. And maybe ask why the island that sells itself on beauty is in such a hurry to bury it.
